Recent Comment Letters: Region

For viewing comment letters by project.

Below you will be able to see selected comment letters for a number of projects that affect various Bay Area regions, the State of California or nationwide environmental policy.

Comment letters are complex documents that often detail issues caused by certain projects, contain relevant imagery, commentary from various groups as well as requested mitigations that should be taken by the responsible parties. Often, CCCR will not write all these documents on its own, rather we work with our many partners who may co-write our comment letters with us (one such example of a co-written comment letter can be seen under the first category below under The East Bay). From time to time, CCCR may also hire an environmental expert or environmental attorney who will help prepare a comprehensive comment letter with issues and mitigations.

CCCR members are all volunteers and are unpaid for their advocacy work which may include preparation of these comment letters. If an expert may need to be contracted, they will be paid for their work.

These letters are made available on a semi-annual basis to allow visitors an inside view at what donations to CCCR will largely go to fund: reports that sustain a perspective to protect the environment and wildlife.

File names will use the following structure: Authors (Acronyms for Organizations Involved) and Type of Document - Date (MM.DD.YYYY)
