A fourth generation Californian, Emily Renzel has a passion for protecting Baylands, open space, and our natural heritage. Emily served 12 years on the Palo Alto City Council and worked hard to protect the Palo Alto Baylands. She has served as Coordinator of the Baylands Conservation Committee for some years. The City named the 155-acre former ITT property as a wetland park after her in 1992.
Emily has a BA in Economics from the College of William & Mary and a JD from Golden Gate University.
