CCCR works tirelessly to track the activities of local cities and the regional entities to ensure the protection of the Bay’s wetlands and wildlife from a constant deluge of threats. These threats range from development proposals that would pave over undeveloped baylands or harm nearby wetlands, to flood control and transportation projects that do not always prioritize the ecological needs of the Bay in their planning, and many more.
Below are a few of CCCR’s most recent comment letters on current proposals impacting the Bay and its wetlands.
For a summary of the most urgent threats to the Bay that CCCR is focused on, see our Threats to the Bay page. For a summary of the priority baylands CCCR is working to protect, see our Complete the Refuge page.
